The video was uploaded about 1 1/2 months after the first upload of her YouTube video. Taylor stopped making videos for her Youtube channel after 2 months, and was nearly 100,000 subscribers. This was mainly due to technical issues related to her new equipment, and her overwhelming popularity. After taking a long time off for a month, she began producing new videos. She made the popular ASMR ten triggers designed to aid in sleeping (35 million views as of the end of August in 2022). The YouTuber posted ASMR 20 triggers to help you sleep in the month of July in 2017. (38 million views by the end of August in 2022). In August of 2017, Shane Dawson featured her in an interview. She also reached 1,000,000 subscribers within a few days. In February 2019, Wired UK estimated that she earned $1,000 a day from advertising revenue from her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. The family's ancestry includes German, English. Swedish as well as Norwegian. She studied at William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler, Alberta. The three sisters she had, Tammy, Tara and Trena were employed and resided on the family's farm. In the age of 17 years old, a scout for models at an agency spotted Helfer when he was waiting in line for a cinema.
